As Toronto online correspondent for the Economist.com, she writes about news, politics and culture.</p>
<p>Susan is a former contributing editor to the Canadian edition of TIME Magazine, where she edited two long-running series and contributed features and cover stories. She has written for publications including Condé Nast Traveler, Fit Pregnancy, Quill and Quire, Hello!, Chatelaine and ELLE Canada. She has also worked as the Canada Researcher for the New York Times and the Toronto print and online correspondent for Lucky magazine.</p>
<p>Susan holds a doctorate in eighteenth-century literature from Balliol College, Oxford and a bachelors degree from Columbia University in New York. She is the co-author of &#8216;Live and Work in the USA and Canada&#8217; (Vacation Work Publications), now in its fourth edition.</p>
