Susan Catto is a Toronto-based writer and editor with an international clientele. She is a frequent contributor to the New York Times, where her work includes numerous travel-related columns, news and features.  She also blogs about business travel for the Economist.  She also consults and works on a project basis for clients requiring assistance with specific projects, publications, reports or events.

Susan is currently the Acting Deputy Editor of Hello! Canada.

As a former contributing editor to the Canadian edition of TIME Magazine, Susan edited two long-running series and contributed features and cover stories. She has written for publications including Condé Nast Traveler, Fit Pregnancy, Quill and Quire, Hello! Canada, Chatelaine and ELLE Canada.

She has worked as the Toronto correspondent for the Economist.com, the Canada Researcher for the New York Times and the Toronto print and online correspondent for Lucky magazine.

Susan holds a doctorate in eighteenth-century literature from Balliol College, Oxford and a BA from Columbia University in New York. She is the co-author of Live and Work in the USA and Canada (Vacation Work Publications), now in its fourth edition.
